FundraisersThe Helping Ourselves Means Education program (H.O.M.E.) sponsors two fundraisers each academic year that maintain funding for the Childcare Scholarships:
- National Center for Family Literacy: Students can turn in used text books at any National Center for Family Literacy drop-off box throughout the year. The books are then sold online and the money is then given to National Center for Family Literacy to purchase usable books
- An Annual Spring Tea

Also through payroll deductions Eastern Washington University's faculty and staff donate to the Childcare Scholarship account.
We appreciate and would like to thank the many staff and faculty who contribute through the donation of auction items, attending and sponsoring students attendance at the Spring Tea and through payroll deductions.
Another source of income is from grants through the Unitarian Universalist Church, American Association of University Women and Women Helping Women.
